CRANBERRIES star Dolores O’Riordan says her ambition os to back on stage by the age of 40.
The mother of two is living in Toronto with husband Don Burton says she wants to see her children to grow up proud of her – and see her perform.
“My pesonal ambition os to see my two kids grow up healthy and intellingent, happy and proud of me. And maybe one day standing in the audience at a gig shouting up at me to rock my socks off.
“When I’m 40 I want to be up on stage like Tina Turner – Me in my stilettos!”
The star says the Cranberries have temporarity split up as she wants to be a full-time lacking in challenge – it’s time to experiment,” said Dolores.
She says that she has her mum Eileen to than for keeping her feet firbly on the ground.
“She laught me from childhood that there was no one on the world quite like me and that whatever I wanted to do with my life, I absolutely could.”
O’Riordan says she reckons she wouldn’t have survived had she not taken a break in the mid-1990s.
“Basically what I wanted was a career break, but a lot of people around me didn’t want to hear that.”
